It truly is amazing at what I see from day to day which hurts and it breaks my heart as to the cruel and heinous treatment the one person in acts upon another ; both verbally or physically even emotionally. When I hear someone attacked another person verbally whether it is cruel, demeaning, rude, or to cause one to feel threatened physically or emotionally; I think of the old "Golden Rule" of 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you', and I would think seriously if you would want somebody to say things to you like you just said to someone else? Come on now, would you want somebody to you say something so heinous, so rude that you were scared or that your feelings were hurt, even to the point where you feared for your life/safety? So thinking about it, would you really like somebody to scream obscenities or to be rude and belittling, then if this is what you like people to treat you as, you go ahead and treat others the same way?
So, because someone has treated you bad then you treat others bad or since your parents did it to you do it to your children or others? That type of thinking is why the world is as messed up it is currently; corrupted, in chaos, and there is so much destructive interaction between most persons in almost every part of the world. Many people whine and cry about how bad the world is and yet nobody wants to even consider that it's their behavior and their words or treatment towards one another that perpetuates how messed this world is.
I try never to be negative no matter what subject or situation, even in my thoughts but when something is staring you right in the face and its plain as day, and then one must call the kettle black. Whether people like it or not some things must be dealt with. I hear so many people talk about their rights, their freedom of speech, and the worst one yet; 'that's just the way the world has always been!'
I can't stand by and let people get away with shrugging it off and yet complaining about it, but then they cry out how their needs to be change. You can't fix which are not willing to recognize as a problem. Sometimes it seems like a ridiculous circle. People tend to run around, almost like a dog chasing the tail; which he barks as he chases the tail and he never stops to realize that it is his tail. Why chase it when all they have to do is recognize that fact?
Everyone wants the world to be a better place or at the least, better in their area or surroundings. No one wants to give up "their rights" or allow anything pertaining to the subject of God as a part of the process to help make it better, or to actually start the process of repairing/fixing it.
So what we have are the shouts of the "problem facilitators" who will not let go of the disease which is causing almost every single act of killing, raping, corrupting, and chaos.
Let's look at the results of the main culprit; "I have the right to...." which boils down to the position of doing, saying or living any thing you please. Say you feel like slapping or slamming your fist into a stranger because he or she casually made a personal statement that they thought this kind of music was horrible or irritating. Now the statement was not to the artist or directly at you, but you felt disrespected, the music was disrespected, or you felt as though the other person was judging this music with prejudice. Majority of the time the person was making a personal comment not directed at anyone. Once you attack this person's statement there are several of their rights that were violated or not allowed. First, there was the right to safety; they are threatened verbally or physically. Second, there was the right to their own opinion; freedom of thought and speech, and thirdly, was the fact, that everyone has the right to have their own taste in music. So one person feels that they have rights to do those things they have a right to do, but they deny others their rights by chastising or punishing others, because "I have the right to..." express your rights.
It is a fact, that everyone has rights and should have rights, but really now, if when certain claimed rights create or open the door for the corruption of personal, local city or state, and government status; it goes to that saying, "Houston, we have a problem."
Your rights seem to be violated by someone or some organization, then you violate there rights by verbally or physically threatening them, and all sides go to warring for there rights to be protected, and everything becomes in chaos. Look at the world today and see if this is not true.
Let us stop the cycle of destruction and chaos. All we have to do, is realize that everyone has a right to there opinion without attack and if we ask about the other view, then the heinous, hateful, prejudice, and threatening disease will begin to fade out of existence. Don't we all want a better world, and better social interaction?
I mentioned earlier that there are those persons and organizations which chose to close down the conversation or become argumentative, when God is brought in to the subject, but what really gets some to transform into rage is once the name of Jesus Christ is said. Many countries and individuals believe in "God", but Jesus is a very different matter.
I just say, that a vast amount of views on the subject of God, but Jesus Christ, according to the Bible; included are the Dead Sea Scrolls are very detailed and unbinding in views. If translated from the original texts, His words changed and continue to change lives, which change the world! The problem with certain countries or people comes from being held accountable and no room for "fudging" or altering so as to get away with doing things the easy way that is the old way. Do we want change or is this all talk and we just let the world "go to hell in a hand basket?
I am up to the challenge and I will press on until I have no strength or breath left in me. The question that I ask everyone else is "Are You?"
